Response to Eagle

Went to Eagle today to provide communications for the Red Cross while they performed needs assessments on people affected by the tornado. I was there for about 3 hours and the assessment teams had not been dispatched yet, but only one team was going into the field. Since there were two of us mobile and I had worked 3rd shift, net control gave me permission to leave. More details can be found on my amateur radio blog.

We really need a traffic light!

Worked last night on the B52 Bulk Depal, came home, got some fresh air, had a couple of beers, and watched traffic go by on HWY 18.
